Acacia cunninghamii fromĀ Banks Florilegium, engraved by Daniel MacKenzie (1770-1780), printed in 1900 by order of the British Museum. This is a watercolour-on-paper drawing of Banksia dentata. The attributed artist is James Miller, but the work would have been heavily based on a partially coloured sketch by Sydney Parkinson, Sir Joseph Banks' botanical artist who was present when the species was first collected at Endeavour River, Australia. A digital reproduction of an illustration of a species identified as Banksia ericifolia.
